Our  professional principles outlines code of ethics and operating standards. By following this, we continually strive to achieve best practice in our service to clients and candidates

We promise to our clients

  • To be open, honest and fair in all of our dealings
  • To declare any potential conflict of interest to the client before agreeing to undertake a recruitment brief
  • To retain the anonymity of the client, where requested, until clearance for disclosure has been given
  • To abide by the provisions of all the relevant laws relating to our business, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination legislation and ensure that we select candidates to present to our clients in a fair, unambiguous and non-discriminatory manner and present their details as accurately as possible
  • To maintain regular contact with both the client and candidate during the recruitment process, ensuring that both parties are aware of developments.
  • Not to retain any information about the client or candidate that may influence the other party’s decision.
  • To view candidate references where requested for the client in an objective and professional manner, once mutual interest has been established by both parties, but with deference to the candidate’s confidentiality prior to an offer being made and accepted.
  • To work with our clients to ensure the recruitment process is efficient and timely.
  • To represent our client as an employer in the best light, ensuring all feedback and documentation representing the company to candidates is of the highest value and presentation.
  • To ensure, as far as possible, that our clients’ experience of our selection processes is a positive one. To recognise that our clients are investing time and expenditure to gain a positive return in the long term.

We promise to candidates

  • Follow all recruitment and personnel assessment laws and organize our operations accordingly.
  • Ensure that laws related to equality, fairness, and non-discrimination are followed in our operations.
  • Guarantee that candidates are interviewed in a fair, consistent, and impartial manner. We promise to do our best to ensure that all candidate skills, qualities, experience, and career goals are described in a fair and truthful manner.
  • Respect the confidentiality of candidate information, if necessary.
  • Not disclose a candidate’s information to a potential employer unless the candidate has been contacted and their consent has been obtained, or they have previously given consent to the free disclosure of their information when a suitable job opportunity arises.
  • Maintain regular contact with both the client and the candidate during the recruitment process to ensure that both parties are kept up to date.
  • Not withhold any information about a client or candidate that could affect the other party’s decision. We emphasize the importance of open communication.
  • Objectively and professionally review candidate references.
  • Provide candidates with objective and professional feedback on interviews with potential employers.
  • Treat candidates in a professional manner in all situations.
  • Work closely with our candidates to ensure that their experience of our selection process is positive.
  • Contact the selected candidate and their new employer within six months of starting the new job to review how the cooperation has begun.

Mika is the founder of the international Talentor network. He has over 20 years of experience from demanding executive search and recruitment of director and manager level candidates in Finland and internationally. Mika has M.Sc. of Economics and Business Administration degree and is certified for skills and competence based assessment from the Association of Psychologists in Finland.
